About

Dr. Monique Vorous, Psy.D.

Licensed Clinical Psychologist — California PSY 24667

Background & Training

I have lived in Northern California my whole life and have always been curious about people, how we think, how our experiences shape the way we see ourselves and the world, and what helps us create meaningful change. That curiosity led me to study psychology at UC Davis and eventually become a clinical psychologist.

Over the years, seeing the impact therapy can have on someone's life has become one of the most meaningful parts of my work. Helping people identify what matters to them, work through what is getting in their way, and make meaningful changes that improve their quality of life continues to drive my clinical practice.

Outside of my work, I'm a parent, an animal lover, and someone who genuinely appreciates finding humor in everyday life. I bring that same sense of authenticity and humanity into my work with clients.
