Who we are
Adapt Clinical is the solo psychotherapy practice of Dr. Monique Vorous, Psy.D., providing telehealth services to adults in California. This policy describes information associated with visiting adapt-clinical.com. It is separate from our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes privacy rights regarding patients’ protected health information.
Information you choose to send
The “Request an Appointment” option directs you to contact us by email through your own email application. The website does not itself provide an appointment intake form. If you send an email, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, and message, and use it to respond to your inquiry and communicate about services.
Please do not include sensitive medical or mental health information in an initial email. Ordinary email may not be secure. If you become a patient, we will explain the appropriate channels for clinical communication.
Technical information and third parties
Adapt Clinical uses Cloudflare to host, deliver, and protect this website. Cloudflare may process technical information, including IP addresses, browser information, request times, and security-related data, to provide hosting and security services. Cloudflare Web Analytics has been disabled. Adapt Clinical does not currently use advertising pixels or third-party marketing trackers on this website. We do not currently embed third-party videos or maps. Cloudflare may still use strictly necessary technologies for security and site operations. If our use of analytics or advertising technologies changes, we will review and update this policy as appropriate.
How information is used and shared
Information sent through email is used to respond to inquiries, coordinate services, and meet applicable legal or professional obligations. We do not sell information you email us. Information may be processed by service providers supporting email or website operations, subject to applicable agreements and law, or disclosed when legally required.
Security and retention
We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Emails from prospective clients who do not establish care are generally deleted once they are no longer needed to respond to the inquiry, including when multiple messages have been exchanged. Certain communications may be retained when required by law or professional obligations.
Your choices
You may choose not to send an email or provide personal information. You may contact us to ask about information you have provided, subject to applicable law and professional recordkeeping requirements. Patients seeking access to clinical records or other HIPAA rights should consult the separate Notice of Privacy Practices.
